We discussed the roles of authors and illustrators for books and movies.
Many great characters started as words on a page.
For this project, we took turns being authors and illustrators. As an author, we wrote a very detailed description of our imagined monster. As an illustrator, we turned someone else’s words into an image of that monster.
Did you know that there are many authors who illustrate their own books?
